Cheesy Italian Garlic Bread
INGREDIENTS:
1½ cups shredded Briati Parma Cheddar
1 loaf Italian bread or ciabatta, halved lengthwise
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2–3 cloves garlic, finely minced
½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional, for extra melt)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Spread the garlic butter evenly over each half of the bread. Top with shredded Briati Parma Cheddar and, if using, mozzarella. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Place bread halves on the baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra golden edges, if desired.
Slice and serve warm—perfect alongside marinara, pasta, salad, or soup.
