Leftover Stuffing Mozzarella Balls
INGREDIENTS:
Briati Mozzarella Pearls
2 cups leftover stuffing
1–2 eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
Cooking oil (for frying)
Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Flatten a spoonful of stuffing into a small disc. Add a few mozzarella pearls in the center, then shape into a ball, covering the cheese completely.
Dip each ball into beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high. Fry balls in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
Drain on paper towels and serve warm with marinara sauce.
